Pfalzwerke join EnerCharge

A strong partnership to encourage e-mobility – Pfalzwerke join in with EnerCharge.

The Pfalzwerke corporation has acquired 23 percent of EnerCharge. “The strategic stake in EnerCharge, with its know-how in hardware and software, helps us with the expansion of our own charging network and enables us to expand our value chain in an increasingly competitive environment”, says Paul Anfang, Pfalzwerke board member. “And we increase our flexibility towards our customers, we can serve them optimally and meet the needs of future requirements of the e-mobility market”.

“With Pfalzwerke we have won a partner who can encourage the internationalisation of our company”, says Roland Klauss, founder and CEO of EnerCharge. “The large amount of experience in the construction and operation of charging parks, that Pfalzwerke brings to the table, is a big gain for us. This will strengthen future development of our products so we can react even faster to future changing requirements of the market and its customers. EnerCharge will continue to stay independent in the allocation of sales projects and in business operations.”

To date, Pfalzwerke and EnerCharge have realized several charging parks successfully. Among those are 12 locations of Hornbach in Austria with an additional four in the planning stage. Recently, the waste disposal service AVR Kommunal AöR in Dossenheim at Heidelberg, Germany, was equipped with four DC-Pillar chargers for their large commercial vehicles. “Additionally, we recently submitted a successful bid for up to 200 chargers”, says Dr. Jens Winkler.
